Blanche’s background is in information and magazine production; she’s a singer and musician.
Marlene was head of Accounting and Finance at the Glamorgan Business School at the University of Glamorgan, and is a singer.
Meurig is a fiddler and one of the stalwarts of Clera, with a professional background in communications and IT.
Jim is an author and lecturer in marketing at the University of Glamorgan with a longstanding interest in music.
Dr Keith Floyd
Dr Keith Floyd is a farmer and retired lecturer. A fiddler and dancer, he’s a stalwart of the Ceredigion traditional music and dance scene.
Francis is a music promoter and blogger who runs Newsoundwales working primarily with Welsh acts such as Brigyn and Al Lewis. His professional background is in personnel, management and training.
Terry plays mandolin, fiddle and banjo, sings, dances with Dawnswyr Delyn, and performs solo and in various groups. He’s a Clera organiser, with a professional background in international health & safety
Performer, author and TV producer, Eiry is the current chair of the Welsh National Folk Dance Society.
Elliw works for Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol and is one of the founders of Cwpwrdd Nansi, which organises folk gigs in Cardiff with a strong Welsh flavour. She is a flautist and singer.
A respected performer and songwriter and a long-standing friend of trac, Frank currently presents BBC Radio Wales’ folk roots and acoustic music show, Celtic Heartbeat
Dafydd Iwan is the ultimate iconic Welsh folk/protest singer and one of the founders of Sain Records, Wales’ largest record company
Huw Stephens is a radio presenter with shows on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Cymru, and a founder of the Swn festival.
Kevin Brennan is Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Folk Arts, Labour MP for Cardiff West and Shadow Minister for Schools.
