Artist Development days

Here’s the latest in our series of one-day workshops aimed at part-time and full-time professional musicians in the folk/traditional sector. The workshops are designed to help musicians with the “business” side of a musical career, and are held at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff, at a subsidised cost of only £15 each.

A musician’s guide to digital media marketing

• Do you want to reach people around the world with your music?
• Are you interested in learning how to use digital media to achieve this?

You’ll be aware of services like Soundcloud, Twitter, Facebook, Bandcamp, and others. You’ll also know that people discover music on their phones, laptops, and other devices, but the plethora of online services and options for using them can seem overwhelming. In this session you’ll learn how you can take charge of your online presence, in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

The session will be led by Carl Morris, a specialist in offering practical advice to creative people on how to take advantage of digital media. When you book please tell us about your skill level and priorities.

The day costs just £15, towards room hire and refreshments.
