Our Mission is “To develop Welsh performing folk arts as a living tradition to be shared and enjoyed by audiences and performers at all levels, both in Wales and throughout the world.”

As we approach our 21st birthday, we’re proud to see the difference that our work has made to the Welsh music scene and to the lives of so many people who have come to our courses and events. We’re reaching out to recruit new Trustees to take the charity into a strong and imaginative future. We are seeking both experienced Trustees and those new to the role.

As an organisation, we know that we need to become more diverse to better reflect the whole of Wales, so we are keen to recruit more young trustees and women, and are particularly open to applications from people from black and ethnic minority communities and from people with disabilities. The charity has a bilingual policy. Our Board includes Welsh-speakers, learners and non-Welsh-speakers.
